At ChartHop, we’re always working to make it easier for organizations to manage their people function and business data in one place. This month’s updates focus on giving you more visibility into time off, help finding information quicker, and making AI-powered insights even more useful.

Ask ChartHop Is Now Available Across Every Module

When we first launched Ask ChartHop, it changed how teams interacted with their people data – starting with HRIS. Since then, customers have been using it in increasingly creative and powerful ways across their organizations.

Now, Ask ChartHop is now available across every ChartHop module:

HRIS, Headcount Planning, Compensation Reviews, Performance, and Engagement.

Wherever you work, you can now get instant answers from your people data.

New capabilities include:

  • Charts & graphs on demand
    • Ask ChartHop can now generate visualizations using Data Explorer.
  • Natural language requests
    • Try prompts like:
      • “Graph headcount over the last five years by department.”
      • “Convert this to monthly.”
      • “Change this to an area chart.”
  • Data Sheets support
    • Generate fully filtered Data Sheets with a simple ask, like listing U.S.-based full-time employees with three or more years of tenure.

Multi-Language Support

ChartHop now supports five languages:

English, French (EU), French (CA), German, and Spanish.

The interface – including built-in and custom fields – is automatically translated based on each user’s language settings. Admins control available languages in Admin → General, with AI-generated translations that can be overridden at any time.

Custom Scenario Cost Calculations

You can now customize how scenario costs are calculated.

Under Financial Settings, teams can:

  • Apply a salary multiplier
  • Use a custom CQL formula
  • Rename and describe cost labels (e.g., “FY2026 Cost”)

Your planning logic and financial representation – now fully match how your business operates.

  • Updated Invite Flow: Customizable invite emails
  • Approval Workflow Enhancements:
    • “X out of Y” approvals
    • CQL-based approver routing

    • HiBob
